Rev., Msgr. Bill Richardson
Monsignor Richardson was Born in Shamokin, PA. on January 28, 1946, to William Mark Richardson & Mary Jane Fallon. He attended Saint Edward Grade School and Our Lady of Lourdes HS in Shamokin.
Msgr. was accepted as a Candidate for the Priesthood in Diocese of Harrisburg in 1964 and prepared for the Priesthood at Glastonbury Monastery, Hingham, MA, Saint Mary’s College Seminary, St. Mary, KY and Mount Saint Mary’s Seminary, Emmitsburg, MD.
He was Ordained a Priest for the Diocese of Harrisburg in 1972 and created an Honorary Chaplain to the Pontiff, with the title Monsignor in 1985
He served as Parochial Vicar in two parishes, Campus Minister on two Campuses, Pastor in seven parishes and two Missions. He also served as Dean in four Deaneries, as well as hospital and prison Chaplain
Additionally, he served in the Diocesan Offices as Director of Pastoral Planning,
Campus Ministry, Communications, Vocations, as well as Chancellor and Vicar General.
He is presently Pastor at St. Ignatius of Loyola Church in Orrtanna , PA.
